Currumbin Cottage

A restoration of a 1960s cottage — keeping what was good, gently editing what wasn't. The original cork floors and timber-lined ceilings stayed. We rebuilt the kitchen in plaster and pale ash, opened the rear elevation to the garden, and let the rest of the house quietly catch up.

Furniture was a mix of pieces the client already owned and a handful of considered new additions. The result feels lived-in from the day they moved back in.
